Appreciation day!!!

We have had recently had a spelling test that included the word appreciation. This sparked some conversation which ended in a homework assignment for Room 1 students to say to their parents and caregivers
“I appreciate everything you do for me.”
What was the result???

I told my mum how much I appreciate her and her response was

It took me a while to get the words out but the reaction’s were
Mum – Oh, thank-you darling it feels lovely to be appreciated.
Dad – no response.

I had to say it twice to both mum and dad dut this was the reply.
Mum- Why what do you want.
Dad- Well you should do i do a lot for you.
they wernt as nice as annas and alyxs.
