Congratulations to those who solved the last WIZ challenge. Here is the new one. I’m not going to give any clues at first because all you have to be is observant to solve this one. Post your answers on this post.
Good luck!!

CO2 cars have arrived at Matapu! Great to see some of the designs that the students have come up with already. The question is, will they beat Mr C’s car (which is still under top secret construction). Here is a snapshot of the design Phillip has created and it is looking pretty sharp. Make sure to really take your time with the planning and work hard to sand the surface so it is silky smooth.
This week has been a busy time with star and ASTTLE testing so our brains are working overtime. Keep in there everyone!
Noone has figured out where WIZ is as yet, so I’ll give you a clue…It is a place in the Northern Hemisphere. That’s all I’ll give away at this stage.
Good luck!

It’s been a week in the making but the end product is worth the wait! Well done Anna for completing your movie on the writing you have done recently. It looks great! Sorry about the load time for those viewing it, we might have to make it a little shorter next time!
Also, don’t forget to check, double-check and triple-check those math-area problems for tomorrow. I have posted today’s problems in the Math section of the blogg if you wanted to see if your older brothers and/or sisters can solve them. You might even want to test your parents!!
The WIZ challenge is up and running now as well, so if you think you know where WIZ is, post your answer below.
Great day team, see you tomorrow.

Hi there everyone, this is the blog for Room 1 at Matapu School. Being new to this I am trying to get to grips with what we can do with this, but stay tuned for some serious blogging.
Well done Casey for your fantastic writing this week and congratulations to Josh who has gathered enough points to go from Rookie status in the NZ Quarterhorse Association to Amateur. A great achievement especially considering he has to stay as a Rookie for a little while longer as he is too young for the Amateur status.
Good start to the week everyone, see you tomorrow!
